Earthing, also known as grounding, is a practice that involves physically connecting your body to the earth. The earth is a conductor of electrical energy, and it carries a negative charge. So, when we connect to the earth, we allow our bodies to discharge any excess positive charges, regaining balance and equilibrium within our energetic field.

One study published in the Journal of Environmental and Public Health found that grounding can reduce inflammation in the body by promoting the transfer of electrons from the earth to the body. Inflammation is linked to many chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis, so reducing inflammation can have a significant impact on our overall, long-term health.

Another study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that grounding can improve sleep quality and reduce pain and stress. A whopping 100% of participants in the study reported feeling more rested whilst sleeping using grounding devices. 93% of test subjects noticed vast improvments in their quality of sleep, and an impressive 74% of people noted massive reduction in chronic back and/or joint pain!
